St. Joseph Day

March 22nd, 2019

On March 19th we celebrate the Feast of St. Joseph.  St. Joseph is considered the patron and protector of the entire church.  St. Joseph is the husband of Mary and the adoptive father of Jesus.  He is the patron saint of workers, and is symbolized by carpenter’s tools, the lily and is usually represented holding the Baby Jesus.

It is the custom to wear the color red, and many of the St. Joseph staff participated in this tradition!
