They were Seeing Red
On February 6th, in recognition of Women’s Heart Health, the St. Joseph staff was encouraged to wear the color red and participate in fund raising activities for the American Heart Association. Activities ranged from a bake sale featuring red velvet, chocolate and red sprinkled cupcakes. Red dress pins were sold and paper hearts – upon which you could write the name of a loved one. The hearts are on display in the hallway across from the nursing administration office. All the proceeds from the bake, pins and hearts sale will be going to the American Heart Association on behalf of St. Joseph Hospital. As usual, the staff could be counted on to actively participate to raise awareness for women’s heart health.
